Save the date for the annual Springfield Beer & Oyster Festival "SOB Festival"... A Festival for Charity

Visit the Inn at 835 this weekend (May 21 & 22)  and you can enjoy the Old Capitol Art Fair Saturday 10 -5pm  and Sunday 10-4pm,  there is original art here for you, in the form of jewelry, sculpture, photography, glassware, pottery, wood, metalwork, oils, watercolors, and other media and the Art of Illinois Wine Festival, the fourth annual Art of Illinois Wine Festival from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, May 21 and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 22. The event is open to anyone 21 years of age or older and will be held at the southwest corner of Fifth and Jefferson Streets in downtown Springfield. Admission is $10, which includes a wine glass and five sampling tickets. A special two-day pass can be purchased at www.downtownspringfield.org for $15, and includes a wine glass and ten sampling tickets. Wine may also be purchased by the glass, bottle and case. The wine tasting event is being held in conjunction with the Old Capitol Art Fair.
